Scott Bayless

Scott Bayless has achieved widespread recognition for his innovative calla lily designs in hot glass. From the creation of his calla lillies to the more recent development of the popular orchid design, he continues to push himself every day to create new designs.

With guidance from Charles Lotton, Scott Bayless is a self-taught artist. His arts career began when he was a child in Norwish, New York. Beginning with art glass his parents brought home from a trip to Italy, and continuning with family trips to well known glass centers such Williamsburg, VA and Corning Glass Works in New York, the spark of interest evolved into a drive to become a talented and successful glass artist. Scott recognizes the experimentation is a deeply important part of his artistic process, and uses what little free time he has to develop new ideas.

Scott's glass can be found in fine galleries and gift shops throught the entire United States. He lives with his wife and two children in a suburbof Chicago.
